Information we use

For purchases through Payhip, Payhip handles payment and digital delivery, and we may receive order details needed for customer support and accounting. For Amazon purchases, Amazon handles its own checkout. Cloudflare provides site hosting and standard security. We do not collect or store payment card details on this website.

Why we use it

We use order information to perform our contract with you, deliver your book and provide support. We keep accounting and VAT records to meet legal obligations. We use necessary security information in our legitimate interests to protect checkout and prevent abuse. Marketing emails require your separate opt-in; you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides hosting and security. Payhip provides the digital checkout and file delivery; Amazon hosts the Kindle and print listings. Payment providers and marketplaces apply their own privacy notices. These providers receive the information needed for their services. Where information is transferred outside the UK, applicable UK GDPR safeguards are used.

How long we keep information

We retain order and VAT records for six years and support emails for two years. Payhip and Amazon apply their own data-retention policies.

Analytics and marketing

We use no analytics or advertising trackers. We do not send marketing emails without an opt-in. Any future optional analytics or marketing service will be explained before it is used and will require consent where applicable.

Your rights and complaints

Under the UK GDPR, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing where applicable. Contact [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
